March 2025 Panda Newsletter
Dear Panda Families,
Welcome to March! It is the month of unpredictable weather and the promise of spring! We are excited for SEP conferences this week and hope that you will enjoy celebrating the success of our students with us.
The school would like to thank the PTA for all their support. One Book, One School and STEAM Night were both great experiences. We are so lucky to have such great support from the PTA and from the families in our community!
With SEP Conferences this week, we will also be hosting a Book Fair! Mrs. Olsen is looking for volunteers to help with the book fair. If you would like to volunteer, please contact her directly at tene.olsen@ccsdut.org .
Here are a few items of note:
- With the weather changing day-to-day, please make sure that your children are dressing for the weather. Also, students often bring coats and take them off outside as the day warms up, which contributes to our Lost & Found getting overloaded. We currently have over 60 coats in the Lost and Found and any unclaimed items will be donated following SEP Conferences. For your information, students will go outside for recess unless the following conditions are present:
- Extreme Cold
- Red Air Quality (Air Quality Link)
- Heavy Rain
- Please remember that as a school, we do not allow students or parents to provide birthday treats, any home made treats at any time. The teachers do a wonderful job of celebrating birthdays and making it a special day for their students. We also have several individuals with allergies to latex and request that if delivering balloons to the school that you send latex-free or mylar balloons.
We would like to thank all of you for your support! As a staff, we count ourselves lucky to work in such a fantastic community. We are all grateful for what you do!
